It's a Suburban converted by Stutz Motors (of '70s/80s neoclassic fame) into a 4-door convertible luxury sedan 4x4. I'm aghast! They made nearly 50 of these things! Some with hard roofs, some as limousines, too. EPIC!!!

They also did an armored Suburban with fewer stylistic changes. It was called the Defender, and later, the Gazelle, and came with a machine gun mounting. All from the company that gave us these treasures:

I'm right there with you. It offends my senses so much, they get Stockholm Syndrome and end up falling in love with it.
